Welcome Haley!

The Frozen Machine is proud to welcome our first new team member, Haley Skjersven! Haley is joining the crew as Community Coordinator taking over management of all Frozen Machine accounts across social media platforms.

Haley has been active in game creation and the local Edmonton game community for the past few years. She has acted as producer and writer on several projects including her most recent game: Murder of Crow (2023)¹, available to play on itch.io. She is also involved in helping the local community grow through her support of GameCamp Edmonton² and as a volunteer for this past year’s Game Discovery Exhibition (GDX)³ in the Marketing, Social Media, and Live Conference Coverage role (whew!).

Haley will be getting up to speed with her new role over the course of the fall while continuing to expand her existing knowledge and skills through study at the University of Alberta in a double major of Media Studies and Psychology.
